My yearbook adviser has shown me an email she recieved that advertised OEM software packages... ie: Photoshop 7 for $50

What she wants to know is.... What does OEM stand for? I've looked several places for it's meaning, and for some reason It's sending up a little red flag when I think of it... so if anyone knows...

Yeah if you can get an OEM Photoshop 7 for $50 go for it. That's a great deal. Who cares about the manual with that much savings.
