ATI fans always brag about their 3dMark05 scores so much I GET SICK OF IT! For one, 3dMark05 is optimized for ATI. Second, 3dMark05 is the ONLY THING ATI is good at. Third, 3dMark05 isn't a fun game IMO. More power to you if you want to sit and run 3dMark05 all day, but I choose real world games, in which NOTHING can touch Nvidia.

C'mon, people have personal preferences, and I prefer ATI over Nvidia. Regardless of what you guys say Nvidias performance is, i've had bad experiences with it.

Well...If you liked ATI a lot. You could have waited a month and bought their next gen card. The x1800xt, for the same price you paid for the card you have.

The X1800XT would be a much better choice if you are just a die-hard ATI fan which it looks like you are. At least it supports shaders required for new games. The X850XT is old technology...in fact it dates back to 2002 and is really just an enhanced version of the 9700 Pro with more pipes and much higher clock speed.

Looks like you had some fun! Thanks for sharing. I dont like that plastic coily wrap around your wiring harness. Try some automtive wire loom. I thinks joeiscool had some pics....
