Hello,

Is there a restriction to the total of Gigabytes I can have of Hard Drive storage space, based on my system specs (in my sig)...?

I currently have 120GB on one mastered physical drive, and am considering buying another HDD (maybe 20GB or 40GB) and either slaving it, or enclosing it externally for a USB 2.0 / Firewire connection. I could do with more space...plus it will make data backup and transfer much easier for me.

Anything that is available today will work in that computer. Win XP may only support up to a certain amount but it's probably like 2 TB or more.

Also, some older BIOS's only support hard drives up to a certain size. It wouldn't hurt to make sure you have the most recent BIOS for your motherboard.

If you are thinking of a second drive and have mostly filled 160 gigs you might as well buy another drive of about the same size as it will be comparible in price to a 20 or 40 gig drive.
