Reformatting WinXP SP2 :<

Hi it has been about a year since I purchase my PC so I think its time for me to reformat. My pc is a Compaq Presario with a AMD 2900 processor with WINXP already installed when I purchased it. I already backed up my music and games. Are there any other files I should back up?

The only things I backup are personal files. Once you format you will have to re-install all your programs again anyways so there is no sense in backing up that folder. So it looks like you should be good to go.

if you have any games, i would back up the save files unless you want to start ur game from scratch

make 2 partitions when you reinstall windows. 1 20-30 gig for windows and the leave the rest for my documents
