Overclocking is a good thing done correctly.

You should try clicking the stickies before starting a new thread.

Overclocking is basically making your CPU faster without physically replacing it. This can be done by changing the speed values, I can explain to you the whoel thing but its better for you to click the stickie and get mroe detailed information.

Overclocking is like putting a NO2 on your Race Car to get more speed. Even though it can speed things up, it can screw your computer over if done incorrectly. And it can shorten the life span of your computer parts.

yes...like my sig says...i have a P4 3.0ghz overclocked to 4.0ghz....that is what over clocking is...and yes...read the stickies..
