Boot up problems

Ok all my parts is hooked up correctly and for some odd reason everytime i turn my comp on it only says my cpu specs and then nothing happens.It takes some time to boot, but i dont know why it stops once i turn my comp on. I reformatted my hdd and installed a frsh copy of windows but then it still makes this problem. Does anyone know how i can fix this??

sounds like it is a problem with the boot order or you dont have master slave set correctly...

its set to master and does the boot order have to be specific??

For the boot order...if you have it checking you're 2.5" diskette, and a cd-rom before the HDD, it'll add a few seconds--you'd know it though, the lights should flicker on the 2.5" drive as well as the cd-rom.
