D: Drive Problems...

Hi, I'm new on this forum, I ain't exactly a genius at computer tech, but I know the basics. I've got a Toshiba Laptop, bought at Xmas, and my 11 year old btoher has managed to delete the D drive, I need to know how to replace it.
It hasn't got a Floppy Disk drive - being a laptop, and I can't play any CD's, obviously because of the missing drive. I can't connect to the internet at the moment, and also te only USB pen I have has gone missing, stupid of me I know.

what is D:? your cd-rom? or another hard disk partition?

i assume it is a removable drive....because you can't just press the delete key and delete it from mycomputer....so it sounds like it is not inserted in the laptop correctly....and is not being detected on the boot up....and what is your problem with not being able to connect to the internet?
