New Video Card Defect

Ok, so I order this expensive $345 video card and wait for it for two days. Get it today pop the sucker right in... and heres the result....

Filed an RMA with newegg to send me a new one. Any idea wtf is going on? I know my PSU can handle it... At boot up the slpash screen has hundreds of vertical white lines scattered everywhere, and well you can see what the desktop is looking like ( vertical red lines ) Any feedback is greatly appreciated.

Was it a 7800GT/GTX? Those cards have been having driver problems.

it was a visiontek x850xt PE 256MB AGP card. Sent it back to newegg for an exchange.

you just got a DOA let see if the return one is any better

you should have got a 6800GT

sense 6800GT>X850XT PE

had many bad experiences with Nvidia cards before so I'm sticking with ATI for. Anyways this card was better than another other 6800GT AGP card I've seen. So... sometime next week I should be getting a replacement I'll post here to let you know how that went... Link to it is below if anyone is interested.
