limewire 4.9.37 help

ok so i got this and whenever i try to download something it doesnt do anything at all. Like it doesnt even go down to the download section.

ive tried reinstalling it and everything still no luck.

can anyone help me out?

That is because Limeware as people know it died. It is becoming 100% legal by requireing "certificates" and will follow suit with Itunes.

use limewire 4.8 or lower. don't ever update to 4.9

limewire gives you an update message everytime when you use anything lower than 4.9

i would just check to see if you have the latest java, that would make limewire run smoother and have less errors.

they have an option to check for updates. uncheck it.
you can download more things on older versions

the first version of 4.9 actually work, but it is too much hassle to remember those numbers, so I just say 4.8

Make sure it is connected. Do you see turbocharged of whatever connection on the bottom left corner?

I have 4.9.28 pro and it works fine for me.
