Ok I got a question for you guys that somebody asked me just recently. And I gave him the right answer to his problem and fixed it.

Little Chauncy just received his new Asus 6800 AGP 8x card. He is sooo happy. So he removed his previous nvidia card and put the new one in, nice and carefully. He made sure it was nice n' snug in the agp slot. So he booted his computer and everything is fine. So he goes ahead and installs the new nvidia drivers. And he reboots, and tries to play a graphically intensive game. He is in the game for about 3-10 seconds and the computer freezes with the computer making a high pitched beep.

Whats wrong with his computer?

no. I dont think that matters anyways. I think if they had only a 4x/4x enabled that it would just run at 4x.
