Have a old dell computer and want to fix it up but the PSU is like
200watts or something sad like that but anyways it has a 478 socket
P4. Its a 2400 so it a smaller case and was wondering if I could mod my case or install my PSU externaly instead of internaly.Or should I get a new case, but I would like to use the old mobo for a little becuase my dad will be using it for a while before i go force on it. Would the mounts on the mobo I have currently be the same as the new case.Or should I buy a barebone kit that supports intel.

that would be the easiest but i was wondering if i could install the PSU externaly, mainly.and about the mobo to.

you're going to have issues with wires reaching, and you'll have to afro engineer your own mounting device. It can be done, yes, but why..?
