Error message BUGS ME

Just exactly what is this error message and how do i get rid of it?

cmicnfg.cpl is a process belonging to C-Media based soundcards which is initiated upton startup to configure this audio hardware's control panel applet. This program is non-essential process to the running of the system, but should not be terminated unless suspected to be causing problems.

Go into your help file then tools then system configuration then in right panel choose system configuration again and choose startup far right tab and look for the file in the box and untick the box and restart.it will pop up a box when it reboots and tick the box and say always remember.
