I have installed a secondary SATA in my Dell Optiplex GX 620 and the BIOS will not recognize it. There are obviously no jumpers so what am I missing? The OS won't see it either if the BIOS doesn't.
...... well try switching the sata ports, your comp won't boot like that, but it'll tell you if its the drive, or something else(MB, BIOS, ect.). Can you tell if the drive is spining up at post?
