Chaintech is not know for great products.

You want great air cooling? Go for the Zalman CNPS9500.

Besides, that mobo retails for $50US on NewEgg, and a 3500+ Venice is $203US. Sounds like TigerDirect is trying to break it off in you. Unfortunately, NewEgg is not in Canada yet.

ZipZoomFly has the CPU for $204(http://www.zipzoomfly.com/jsp/ProductDetail.jsp?ProductCode=80717-5) and the MSI K8N Neo4 Platinum nForce4 Ultra for $122 (http://www.zipzoomfly.com/jsp/ProductDetail.jsp?ProductCode=241158). ZZF no longer ships to Canada, though.
 
Any reason that you are going with AGP? If you already have an AGP vid card, then go for it. But if you are going to get a new vid card, you might as well get a mobo that has PCIE, and get a vid card to match.

Also, I recommend you leave the CPU fan&heatsink out, as the mobo+cpu kit already includes it.

Chaintech isnt the most reputable company out there for mobos. I cant vouch for or against them, as I have never used any of their products, though.

My recommendations for you for the same price range:

MOBO: Gigabyte GA-K8NSC-939 $102.34

CPU:
AMD ATHLON 64 3200+ $245.03
 
umm there's no RAM in that list.. or a power supply... or video card (if you want one) or monitor... or hdd
gotta tell us what you'll be using it for too.. and tell us what you alredy have :)
 
I know there's none of that other stuff, I do not need it. I just want to replace my mobo and CPU. And thanks for the feedback, I'll look into those parts, Elba. As for the Heatsink and fan, I had no clue what to get so thanks for that advice. I'll check this stuff out and reply with a new setup. And yes, I do already have an AGP card.
