i did a stupid thing i installed linux 7.0/redhat now my computer is use less cant get to win 98.how do i delete it or whipe the laptop clean and install win 98 back on

can't you just put the win98 cd in the drive an boot the computer into the win98 setup?

You need to create an FDisk to reformat the machine and install 98 via your setup disk.

ok i ran the fdisk went through whole thing.botted the lap top up and linux 7.0 came up.tried installing windows 98 from the cd romand the machine could not find it to start the download.the lap is a dell latitude cpi with a removel floppy drive and also a removal cd rom drive i am lost as to what to do next.i dont have alogin name or password to get in to the linux 7.0 need help

don't you have a recovery disk that come with laptop?

no i got this from a friend who was getting rid of alot of computer stuff.its a dell latitude cpi with removel floppy and cd rom .if you run across a disk let me know
