You guys are great... I'm going to follow through with all that stuff... but it sux neweggs TV tuner and MOBO is out of stock so I'm on the autonotify list. =(

I haven't put together a PC in ages.. back in the PIII era. Any advice before I go about it? setting up the dual channel DDR or anything?
 
If you have put a PIII together then you should be fine.

To set up dual channel, just read your mobo manual, and it will tell you what slots to use to enable dual channel.

If you have any probs during your build, just post back!
 
I saw in zipzoomfly that theirs two kinds of corsair rams the cas2.5 and cas3? which is better?
