Stumped. Need help bad.

Ok I have a weird problem with my comp. I have unwanted restarts. But not random restarts..

A week or two ago I did a system recovery on my computer. I couldnt play Americas Army because I had spyware. I got fed up with it and did the system recovery. I have had no problems sense then.

But now, whenever I open Windows Media, it brings me to now playing, its fine. When I go to library, I get a restart. Not like a restart when you to turn off computer, restart. It doesn't shut anything down. I get a black screen and my computer boots up fine. I need help. Please, anyone?

WMP restarts? That was kinda confusing

Guess I didn't state it correctly. My hole PC restarts.

check event viewer and post errors, also in case its doing a quick warm boot... disable in the startup/recovery tab in system properties the box checked restart for the system failure section. Post the errors here.

go to start, run, type msconfig go to startup, disable all and reboot.

I disabled all and did reboot.

Still restarts

but if I open it and quickly click a song or movie to play it is fine. Its been like this before I disabled all those. Anything else?
