Speedfane Remote2 118 C ???!!!

got a new cpu yesterday, athlonx2 3800+

d/l speed fan

Ambience : 38
Remote 1 : 32
Remote 2 : 118 !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
HD0 : 42

Now, if something is running at 118 c, to my knowledge it wouldnt be running for too long. This cannot be correct can it?

thats 244*F, there is no way that's correct. It would be dead. Must have a wrong temp reader, well obviously that's teh problem.

speedfan is hella inacurate try it through the bios

Flash the Bios with the latest version.
I have come across a lot of BIOSs that were wrong

System 39 C

seems like everythings is ok there
