What kinda Vid Card is reasonable for my comp?

My PSU is 350 watts.

And I found a place that still sells their PC2100 and PC2700 for the same price as PC3200. Made me happy. The highest speed my comp can take is PC2700 so seeing as how that is already outta date I might as well get PC2100 and avoid any compatibility issues. I say this because I had tried PC2700 before and right after installation my comp kept locking up.

Hey. I've been looking at 6600GT's on newegg. I'm lost to the extreme. Unlike ATI, nVidia doesn't actually make cards so I don't know which manufacturer to trust. I see big names like MSI and Asus so my instinct says them. Also, I don't understand the numbers at all. Core clock, etc... For example, according to how I read the number the ATI 9600 kicks the 9800's ass. Please help me understand
