Ice tea leaked in my bag..and now my USB won't work.

Anybody else had a similar experience? Does anybody know if my USB will work again? I'm very worried. :(

and do NOT plug it in until its completely dry... wait for a few days at least. If you plug it in wet you're libel to fry it.

Are you talking about a removable USB stick, or the USB ports on your laptop?

I lost my digital camera in ocean water on a boating trip, once. Fished it back out. Let it dry for A WEEK. Still wouldn't work.

Was just about to throw it out a few days later, and decided to give it a test again. Aha! It worked. I figured the salt would cause everything to rust, but the camera actually worked, other than the selector being fairly stiff, and the LCD not displaying completely right.

If it's a USB stick, your situation SHOULD be the same, I guess. I'm not sure what iced tea is like when it dries. I'm guessing it's fairly sticky. I'd suggest you let it air dry for about two weeks, considering mine took about that long to work properly.
