instead of a 4000+ i would go with an X2.

You wont use the x2 to its potential now, but you will thank yourself when games and programs as well as operating systems take advantage of the dual core setup.

Well, you can get 4 sticks of ram. 2x256 and 2x512. That's actually what I'll be aiming for when I upgrade!

I would say to forget about it and wait until there is windows Vista. Or get a 64Bit Macintosh. Whanr I get a PC running Vista I am going to put linux on it
