i remember when the alienware 15" laptop screens went to 1600x1200 .. i think they do 19something now

Actually I saw in the latest edition of "CPU" magazine a $2,000 dollar custom case paint job... It looked pretty sweet, but isn't that price a litte steep? Well, not for a $10,000 budget... : )~

maybe i remembered wrong... but i swear the 15" screens did 1600x1200 like two years ago

yeah it is quite weird, most 17" LCDs these days wont let you past 1280x1024 with the drivers installed. My dads 15" laptop can only do 1024x768.
