Hello

on some message boards, there is a checkbox which says

Disable BBCode in this post

what does it mean?

For instance if you wanted to explain to someone how to post an image you could type the BBCode and have it displayed as written for the purpose of teaching.

As if you didn't know!

BBCode is a code for forums. Like the
tags. They are made to make sure nobody uses html. When forums used html there were viruses that were spread through forums. You can see BBCode when you are making a post. Like the buttons abve the text box.

thanks for the replies guys

you mean to say the http://, PHP, list and quote buttons are bbcode
does bbcode stand for bulletin board code?
