you mean i can stream in .wma files from the internet and use nero(burner?) to convert them to mp3

I'm sure thats illegal but yeah it's called "recorder" or something to that effect it comes on all XP OSs and possible even Win2K.

you mean that there is a software which is bundled within windows xp which can capture a streaming audio file

how do i start recorder?

thanks for the link

it seems that it can only support one minute worth of audio, can i extend that a bit more.

do i work it like so, i play the real audio while the recorder is on and save it as a .wav file?

um you record sounds coming out of your speakers perhaps? You could probably also patch together mp3s...

Hello

Is there a software which can convery real audio files to mp3 files

what kind of files. AAC or RM?

Real one has issue with legalities. they are converting protected wma and itunes files to work with their music players (Itunes has twice fix it so they can't do, only to have real one crack their code again). so I don't think real can get mad if anybody crack their codes
