I'm thinking of getting a laptop

What's the best laptop to get that is under $2000? is it cheaper to buy one online or at retail stores?

HP or Dell. Go with a Pentium M 1.7 or around that area with at least 512 RAM. I would buy online, however check the stores as well to compare. You never know.

i think that online is cheaper. i would go with the dell inspiron 9300, i ahve it and it is great. i wud definetly recommend this as a desktop replacement.

Buy online, it is cheaper. Dell and HP (Compaq too for that matter) are all fine laptops.
