Not to take away from what pzerofgh has said, but I have used the DiamondMax's and I love them. The new ones have a 16Mb buffer, for faster loading of progs & such. MaximumPC had a HDD article recently, and while the Raptor beat the DM10 in overall speeds, it wasn't by much. In fact, they ended up recommending the DM10 over the Raptor based on price/performance ratio, if I remember correctly. I also think they were using a 300Gb DM10, not sure though. I will try to find the article and post the specs, if I still have the mag.

oh yes i have heard what F6Hawk just said. But i found out that MaxLine III is newer and better than the DiamondMax 10s. but the Benchmark is new.
