when I tried to add a printer i get the following message


operation could not be performed

any ideas ??

Why is there air? You need to provide us with a lot more information. You computer hardware configuration, OS and Manufacturer and printer interface, i.e. parallel...usb? If you are using XP, once connect the new printer and power it up XP will find it and then prompt you to put in the CD to install the appropriate drivers. Should be a "no brainer" but we need more information.

what steps did you take to install the printer and at what point does the error message appear?
