Abit AA8 Duramax stops at POST F.F.

Just replaced my burnt up P4 530 witha 630. Goes through bios cpu, VC, ram checks just fine. Hits a line in bootup "Verifying DMI data pool.........." and stops. The POST code F.F. means nothing to me.

If anybody has any ideas plz share.

has this been solved or not? looking at your sig if this is the same computer you have this overclocked so try bringing it down a notch.

na its not OC'd thats just how abit has the "best performance" mobo's ( they oc the standard settings ).

i did figure out the problem though.
Reinstall windowsxp
just have your cdrom boot before HDD and tada, boom everything gone.
