Is this hard drive worth it?

i would go with sata, just because they got the thin cables, and its good airflow for your case.

I would tend to agree, however I don't think that there is a noticable performance between the SATA drives and ATA133 in performance. As in you won't REALLY notice the difference in speeds.

However if I had the choice then SATA would be to go. Just because it's the newer of the two and has almost the same price tag.

It's not for a notebook though. I doubt an external HDD would be good for gaming... Unless there is something I'm missing?

LOL - I was saying it would be a great price for an HDD to use in a External Additional Storage HDD. Not for a system HDD. For a system HDD i always use SATA.

well sata is one crap hdd ...there harder to use eg format install xp on

i dont think that would be a problem for a techie. as long as there faster all other problems can be ignored..
