burning the cd is one thing but you might want to get some literature on linux before you try using it especially if you plan to dual boot a system because the wrong move could wipe out all your hard drives. also dont use LILO to boot, use some other way of booting to linux because LILO never leaves your MBR not even if you do a full format and reinstall windows. you will need some other program to delete your mbr. good luck!!! linux is the best!!!
 
OK!

I did it !!! I have succesfully done it..

Now I have to set up my PC to boot up from the CD-ROM and have CD-1 in..right....adn then what would happen ???
 
It will boot and be ready to install IF you have an open partition on one of your drives. If you don't know how to partition, Google it.
