Get a different motherboard manufacturer (like Abit, DFI, MSI, Goga-Byte), and get another kind of harddrive (Western Digital or Seagate).

I'd also stay away from XFX.

The components all look great, just some unworthy brand names.

Thanks for your reply guys ... can I ask why you suggest different brands? I've looked at quite a few reviews and I haven't seen much negative feedback.

Can you point me to reviews? Or is the brand thing just a personal preference?

Thanks for your help!!!

XFX and Maxtor use to make really buggy hardware that failed alot, but form what i have heard they have come along way since then.

But i would change your motherboard to DFI,MSI and your Harddrive to Seagate or WD.

DFI and Seagate been my prefrences.

The Maxtor 300GB drives have 16MB caches though. Doesn't that make them worth a shot?

Oh yeah tylerNZ you probably already know this but make sure you have Windows XP Pro because Home does not support dual core CPU's.
