i would go with the 2GB of OCZ ram, most ppl here have that set. and whatever 2GB set you get, your not going to be OCing very well.

and Nubius i might be wrong but i was quite sure that you would not be able to oc as far on a devider as with the 1:1 ratio
the only part you're right on is the fact you stated you might be wrong...I don't know where you heard that kind of information but it's not true.

That's the whole point of dividers is so you can OC your CPU beyond what your RAM can handle

generally 1gig sicks don't oc as well as their 512mb counterparts and have looser timings too so ur not gonna get steller oc's on 1gig sticks
he's trying to decide if he wants 1gb of OC'ing RAM, or 2gb of Non-OC'ing RAM...he never stated he was going for heavy OCs with a 2gb kit

As for good 2 x 1GB sets, ValueSelect will do fine as you're not going to be overclocking anyways, lol.

OCZ Value Series, like Pzerofgh said, is also a good enough set.

I'm pretty sure they make 2 x 1GB sets of Kingston ValueRAM...

Any of those will cost ~$220.

The platinum is only like $20 more and it has tighter timmings to I'm gonna get that.
