Video problems with New PC

I have been using my new PC for about two months now, but I just realized that the any video I play doesn't play correctly. All movies and clips play sketchy and without good color.
I just installed new drivers for everything and my system specs are:

AMD 64 3200+
MSI Neo Platinum
eVGA 6800 GT
500 GB WD SATA hard drive (250x2)
OCZ Platinum 1 GB
2 21" CRT monitors
MX1000 mouse
Z-5500 speakers

Please help. Watching videos on this computer is one of its main purposes.

well are your drivers x64 approved...?

also (im sure youve done this though) mess around with all the retarted settings and stuff on win media/power dvd. I had this problem for a while and it screwed it all up until i changed a setting.


sorry if this is dumb advice - (im not trying to make you look stupid)


and another question, does it happen with games?

No my games run fine.
It's just video media.
