1.697 ON A VENICE! :wooha:  im afraid to even push it past 1.6. i shuold get water. but i dont know anything about water lol.

If it came at 1.63v stock (which I highly doubt) then I would recommend RMA'ing it.

As for pushing almost 1.7v through a Venice...no comment.

Well as long as i keep my temps at a pretty low level, as they are now i shouldn't really have anything to worry about should i?

not always true. I know that some processor end up frying memory units because of the volts, not the temperature. But, if it's working, it's working.

Yea, but it might not be working for long.

If you put too many volts through it, no matter if the CPU is at -100*C, its gonna fail permanently.

on the AMD64s it can possibly fry the memory controller....XP's however are a different story...as long as it's cool put some volts through that beotch :p I put 2.225 trying to get 2.8GHz stable on my XP-M....still wasn't stable though =/ Maxed out at 2.7GHz 24/7 stable and 2.8GHz bootable

Well i don't really want to fry my memory controller. So what would be a safe max volts to put through it?
I am gonna try lowering the volts again and see if she is stable or not.
