Hi All,

I have a Vintron 810 Motherboard Chipset which I purchased with PIII-600 MHz Slot processor in Sept. 2000. 1 year back, P3 processor died so so I replaced it with Celeron 633 Mhz Processor (Socket 370). Now I want to upgrade my system for a better performance without changing my motherboard. Currently I have 512MB 100 Mhz RAM (2 sticks *256 MB) and WinXP SP2 O/S.
I would be extremely grateful if anybody could answer the following queries:
1. Please suggest the best compatible processor (P-III or Celeron) for my motherboard. This should also be able to give good bandwidth on my Broadband connection which is very less due to the current processor. My motherboard can accomodate Slot / Socket based processors.
2. Please suggest good 2D/3D AGP Card for this 810 Chipset so I can have better performance from my PCTV Pro TV Tuner Card.
3. Please give me the site for upgrading my BIOS.
4. Max RAM supported in each slot on my motherboard.

For your reference I am attaching the snapshot of boot screen which comes up when I boot my PC.

Thanks in advance

Celeron 1.3 mhz socket 370

usually it's how many ram slots you have times 512. PC 100 and 133 usually tops out at 512 per slot.

FX5500 might be a good card for you.
