The Radeon performs a little faster in most game and the image quality is supposed to be better although I personally don't notice ant difference. The Radeon also processes AA and AF better.

Yep, I agree with Aye29. The 9600 XT is 150 and will be faster than anything Nvidia has for that price. Or, if you're daring, you can get a 9800 SE, unlock the pipelines, and get a 9800 for the price or the SE. The risk is that it might not work with the card you buy (you can't do it with all of them) and you can get artifacting. I would recommend either of those over a GFX
