Hi,

I'm not very good with computers so I'm going to need all the help I can possibly get with this. I have a Dell dimension 3000 and it has a motherboard with a PCI slot but I need a PCI-Express slot.

The people on the dell forum told me it was impossible to take out the motherboard and put another one in that has a PCI-E slot. Is this true?

The reason I want a PCI-E slot is because I want the ATI Radeon 9800 video card for various reasons.

Can someone tell me what kind of motherboard I would have to get and explain to me the process of removing the one in there with a new one? I would probably need new ram and a bigger hard drive as well. It will need to be a serious upgrade.

I will pay cash (via paypal) to whomever can guide me through what exactly I will need to buy for this and also guide me on how to switch things around in my computer.

Thanks!

I can't believe I forgot to post this:
