User profile help

I just installed a new hard drive and installed windows XP home on it. I am trying to get files from a user profile on my old hard drive, but cant open it. The old hard drive's os is messed up, so i cant just boot off of it. The profile doesnt have a password, and i still cant access it. It says "Access is denied." Anyone have any ideas?

take ownership of the files... There is a posting in here that covers this... I'll see if I can find it....
