ya do some research, use google, or go with one of the above mentioned boards. You have to choose yourself weither you want intel or amd. I've had 2 pentiums and would personally buy an amd as my next purchase.

Personally I would go with an AMD processor but I think you should listen to shoobierat and build the computer you want to build not a computer based on other peoples opinions.

What are some good sites that review or describe the differences between AMD Atholon, Sempron, and X2 or P4 Willamette, Northwood, and Prescott?

CPU-Z says my comp has a Northwood Rev B0 - does that mean it's a P4 2.0B instead of a 2.0C?
