I got the Rosewill R114A-BLK Steel ATX Mid Tower Computer Case for my first build. It was easy to use. Plus it is sturdy and looks cool and not too expensive.
For cooling and OCing your CPU get the ZALMAN CNPS9500 or the ZALMAN CNPS7700-CU. They are both excellent for overclocking.
