Ram slots

has anyone here had any problems with ram in different slots? , ok here is an example today i bought 512 more of ram and when i put it in and turned my pc on everything was ok, but i had no internet and when i tried to play a game, right when it was starting i saw some sparkles on my monitor then my pc reseted so i decided to change my ram into different slots, i put my new ram in slots 1,3 and my old in 2 and 4 (where my old ram was) and when i turned on my pc i had internet again and games funtioned perfectly

My DDR (1G x 2) is 1st and 3rd slot.
You should check your MOBO manual.
They will show you the best RAM setup.

its fixed now, after i changed them to different slots , i just tought it was weird that i lost my internet connection XD (i tought it was my router first)

Strange things happen when ram is unhappy with it's location... You'd be surprised about the weird stuff people have seen.
