Currently there is no support at all in the 64bit OS of windows to support 16bit and almost nothing is programmed using 16bit.
64bit... need windows?

Well what I was saying is I think its stupid that games or anything else has to depend on windows to determine how it runs.
If your hardware is 64bit then your stupid 32 bit operating system shouldnt stop other things besides itself from running with 64bits.
Games should not depend on windows to run. It would be nice if they could just make it so you could shut off windows while playing games, you could get so much better performance.
Like back in the day you would run games from DOS instead of thru windows. They should do something like that now. But I gues XP dosnt have DOS embeded in it like 95/98/ME used to.
