Total Cost: About $1600

Any last minute suggesstions?

thats not really a high budget comp... why not an FX57 CPU? or atleast a 4400 so u have 2x1MB instead of 2x512k cache.

I'm spending $1600. That's a lot of money, and I don't really want to have to spend more when I can simply overclock to get more performance.

can you OC the cache from 2x512 to 2x1mb? ;)

No, I can't overclock a cache. Do I want to spend an exta $200 on this computer? Not really. Will the additional cache size really make that much of a difference?

Yeah, $1600 is a lot of money. But when it comes to gaming PC's I see it more like this...

LOW-BUDGET = $1000 - $1500
MID-BUDGET = $1600 - $2500
HIGH-BUDGET = $2600 and up

Before you know it... MID-BUDGET will be comsidered LOW-BUDGET... and so on...

Alright, call it what you want, but I think $1600 is high budget. Now then, can we stop arguing about that and talk more about the parts I'm getting?
