temporary files overwrite?

If i set 50mb for temporary files save folder and i look at websites with more than 50mb of data, would it overwrite the files to the ones ive just used?

It stops writing till you clear the cache.

i mean say if i set 50mb temporary file limit. and then, i look at 10 websites which is alltogether 51 mb. would it overwrite the very first mb that was used?
