I heard that the eVGA Nvida geForce 4 MX 440 8x 128 DDR sucks. WHY????

Is ATI Radeon 9200 SE 8x 128 DDR any better? Why or why not?

MX 440 is realtively old and I dont think it had DX9 support. The 9200 is newer and faster and supports DX9.

The 9200 is newer and faster and supports DX9.

The 9200 is actually a DirectX 8.1 card, and the MX440 is of the DirectX 7 generation.

Although sometimes the MX 440-8X can be faster than a Radeon 9000 Pro/9200, the 9200 will give better quality graphics as well as video playback; one extreme example is Halo, which looks quite terrible, in my opinion, on a card that lacks DirectX 8/9 features.
