Hi,

I'm in the process of upgrading my PC's graphic card. I've heard that AGP has a much larger maximum data rate than PCI, so I'd rather buy an AGP compatible graphic card. I've talked to tech support via email from my computer brand, HP and I don't have "any AGP slots."

Is there any way to add a slot? Am I better off just buying a PCI graphic card and installing that (also keep in mind the PCI version of the graphic card actually costs more)?

Thanks for your help.

you cannot install AGP slots.

You can either buy a PCI graphics card or replace the motherboard with one that is compatible with your current CPU/RAM and is equipped with an AGP slot.
