Ms Office XP problem

I have office XP on my system and all of the programs work except MS Excel... i don't understand why it doesn't work. When i start the program it goes through this thing like it's loading something from the CD then when it gets done with that just nothing happens... then i try to start it again and it says last time Excel tried to start it had errors (etc etc) would you like to start in safe mode... and no matter what i say to that it doesn't work. I'm confused on how to fix it.

i wish i could help, try re/uninstalling it, again and rebooting (the normal shit) and if it still doesnt work maybe reinstall windows/repair it

if u have the cd for office xp
put the cd in the cd rom & select the option which says repair
