I am using Symantec Ghost 8.x.

I am creating a boot Disk for a Dell Latitude D510. The NIC is a Broadcom 440x. I am attempting to make a boot disk, and can not get it to work. I downloaded the newest .Dos driver (ver. 3.x), and used that, but it still did not work.

what kind of error are you getting?
or what is happening that is not working...

You can get past these convoluted ghost boot disk errors by using a universal disk coupled with a ghost boot disk.

Download the universal disk here and see if it works without any additions. If not, you can simply add additional drivers to the disk via the provided .cab file library on the site.

After you boot the laptop into a prompt, simply use the ghost disk from there on out by changing to the ghost directory and running the ghost app.

When working on dells i typically use the b44 cab or the b47 cab in the list of additions below what is list as "default" with the disk. the b44 should work fine for you though.
