New MOBO

ok guyz i know this probably isnt the most expensive board out there but i dont feel like spending all my money onn a new mobo so this one caught my eye and its only 100$ FOXCONN

its got like 6 pata slots so ill have a but load of expansion capapbilities.pci-e and looks like its a decent overclocker. what do u guyz think?

Foxconn = horrible

If you want a really nice intel mobo, go for an Asus.

but someone says that the red IDE ports are for raid only. so if i have 1 hard drive and 2 cd drives how would i set that up?
thats the only question or concern i have about getting thisd mobo what do u guys think?

Set up your hard drive with JBOD. (Just plug it in the RAID it will do it automatically)

Gigabytes are great, very reliable not really for overclocking though.

I had a horrible experience with Gigabyte... But maybe I'm an anomoly. I tried building two identical computers with two Gigabyte K8N-GSC mobos (or something like that, I'm too lazy to look up the right model) and both machines didn't work. They were flat out DOA. I ordered up two 'inferior' ECS mobos with PCex16, and they fired right up with all the same equipment surrounding them.
