PZEROFGH, you're kinda......biased when it comes to XFX I mean really have you ever had a card from them!? I've heard that they are improving^^

i dont need SLI.....and i guess if i really need it i can always upgrade.......so for a non sli motherboard, how is this?

PZEROFGH: i like the mobo that you recommended but it has 2 pci 16 slots, and a pci 4 slot....what would i use the extra pci 16 slot and the pci 4 slot for? and i dont need that extra LAN jack....




also is this card a good choice? power supply suggestions or will the one i listed in my first post work? i didnt see any power requirements for the card....

I really dont see the point of a 7800GT, or even a 6800 card if you dont plan to game much, a 6600GT will do fine for music and photo shopping. But if you do plan to game a little the 7800GTX is the card that will last you the 3-4 years you want.

get th DFI nF4 ultra-D, you have dont have to use both pcie16 slots, and i dont see the need for a7800GT get a 6800GT and upgrade the proc or get better ram

well i want a card w/ 2 dvi ports because im thinking about having 2 monitors.........................and the only one i saw on newegg was this one

and it says it only has an S-Video Out, not HDTV/S-Video.....

plus the 7800 was only about 50 dollars more...

ill keep looking though..
